Thyran Bruce McMurray was born on June 2, 1958 to William and Margaret McMurray in Anchorage, Alaska. He passed away on March 23, 1992.

Thy attended elementary, junior high, and high schools in California. Graduating from Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, he went on to complete approximately two years of college at San Bernardino Valley College.

His first job after schooling was with Pacific Telephone Company. His last job was working for the California Franchise Tax Board for approximately nine years.
If Thy had a hobby, it was sports. He was involved mainly with basketball, softball, and of all things, Nintendo. His sister said he was all heart in her association -- being a protector; therefore, he was assigned the name "Squid." His friends and brothers say it means all head!

Thy was not hard to love, although he had a silent inner mind that few could penetrate. He had that funny, shy smile that won your heart.
Missed badly by his parents, his sister Yvette Wilson, brothers Keith and Billy, his daughters Thyceen and Tavette, countless uncles, aunts, neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Isa. 57:1 (TLB) - The good men perish; the godly die before their time, and no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to realize that God is taking them away from evil days ahead.

The Thy McMurray Memorial on the Internet is dedicated to family and friends of Thy McMurray.
